Project Description:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow developer that is interested in helping us change the way that manages IT. This position will be responsible for improving the delivery of IT services for globally by developing custom IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of web application development, including JavaScript expertise, systems integration, and preferably experience developing on the ServiceNow platform. Candidates also need to be a strong team player with customer focus and should thrive on problem solving and achieving results. At the same time, candidates should also be self-motivated, capable of managing projects from requirement gathering to final implementation with minimal guidance.
The selected candidate will work closely with a team of business analysts and other developers to create custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform. They will also be responsible for simplifying these solutions by leveraging existing functionality in the "out of the box" platform or other internally developed applications. Some specific responsibilities include:
• Design, develop and test solutions built on internally hosted ServiceNow platform
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to identify ways to simplify user experience
• Actively participate in daily Scrum meetings and regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings
• Collaborate with business analysts to clarify requirements and create test cases
• Perform L3 troubleshooting of reported application problems

Skill Requirements:

Essential skills:
• 5+ years of development experience
• 3+ years advanced web / JavaScript development experience
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: HTML/CSS, AJAX, Jelly, JSON, AngularJS, Bootstrap
• Knowledge of SDLC

Additional skills desired:
• ServiceNow development experience
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile framework
• Advanced understanding or Oracle DB performance optimization
• Tibco ESB experience
• Unix/Linux knowledge
