AI Agents available for end-users in Now Assist in Virtual Agent. Now LLM as an orchestrator option. And more!
The latest enhancements to AI Agents enables use in Now Assist in Virtual Agent for agentic self-service. AI Agents do not require a trigger to work in Now Assist in Virtual Agent. The Virtual Agent uses the Now LLM to surface the best AI Agent for the requestor's query.
How to set up:
- Navigate to All > AI Agent Studio > Overview and select the AI agent.*
- Select the Define availability tab, and then toggle on "Virtual Agent" as a Display option. Select which assistant the AI Agent should be active in.
More features:
- Now LLM is now an orchestrator option alongside Azure OpenAI. To select the LLM, navigate to the AI Agent Studio > Settings > Manage LLMs page.**
- New AI Agent tools: Knowledge Graph and File Upload
- Run evaluation tests against your agentic workflows in Skill Kit
- Additional out-of-box AI Agents and Agentic workflows, for IT, HR, CRM...
- AI Agents in Now Assist in VA also supported in Now Mobile.***
- UX updates and more!
*Agentic workflows (fka "use cases") are not discoverable in Now Assist in Virtual Agent. Requires a trigger.
** Now LLM as orchestrator does not support AI Agents in Virtual Agent.
***Copilot integration currently doesn't support AI Agents. Teams integration has limited support.

Hello Victor,
I hope you’re doing well. I have Yokohama Patch 4 installed, but I’m unable to find the option “Display AI Agents Output in VA” to enable my AI Agent in the Virtual Agent.
Additionally, once the AI Agent is available in the Virtual Agent , can we incorporate the AI Agent flow into any of the Virtual Agent topics?
Please correct me if I’m mistaken.
Regards,
Nisarga Y
