Ready to spend a day building with the latest ServiceNow capabilities? The now[dev]26 Hackathon is coming up on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at the San Jose Convention Center, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Bring the idea you’ve been meaning to test. Explore what’s possible on the platform, get hands-on with what’s new, and build alongside other developers, architects, engineers, and enthusiasts. You’ll have product and technical experts on the floor all day to help you work through roadblocks, so you can keep your momentum going.
The quick rundown
- When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026
- Where: San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA
- Team size: 3 to 6 people. No solo entries, so grab your crew.
- Time: Check-in starts at 11 AM, with the event running until 8 PM
Find your team before kickoff
Teams must have 3 to 6 members, and the best hacks happen when different skills come together. Here are two ways to find your people:
- Virtual team formation (optional): Join us on October 21 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. PT. You’ll get a preview of the day, learn what tools you’ll be building with, hear about the prizes, and ask questions. You’ll also meet other participants in breakout rooms, share your interests, and swap early ideas. No pitch required.
- In-person team formation: Can’t make the virtual session? Join us on event day from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., right before the hackathon kickoff.
Before you go
Bring your laptop and charger. Tables, chairs, power strips, snacks, and drinks are all provided. If you want to connect to real business systems, you can sign up for a free developer instance ahead of time, and select mock APIs will be available on-site.
Everyone needs to check in at the venue to pick up a badge, even if you registered online.
