Explore the ServiceNow Security Center (SSC), a new app for Utah release and later, with a set of tools designed to help you easily improve the security and compliance of your Now Platform instances. The SSC allows you to gain visibility into your security posture, view your compliance with the ServiceNow recommended settings as a percentage score, and identify the top non-compliant hardening settings that improve compliance. The ServiceNow Security Center enables you to take control of your side of the shared responsibility model through measurement, identification, and recommended security from ServiceNow. The SSC is an easy-to-use tool that provides over 60 different security KPIs that can be monitored, and this new tool creates notification alerts to help identify potential security issues and insecure user behaviors.

I was hoping the questions asked were included in the recording. There was a question asked about items showing up in the Security Center that are created and updated by ServiceNow aka considered out of box that looks like a company's admin would be required to update thus owning the item in the future since it was last touched by the company admin and not ServiceNow. For example-End of Support: GlideEncrypter API- we have 14 results reflecting the wf_activity table that we have never touched and now it seems like ServiceNow clients need to make the changes rather than ServiceNow owning their own code that needs to be updated to be more secure. We should only have to make changes to code we have introduced or changed.
Brenda Williams, Thank you for watching the video and posting your question. The best way to get your answer is to reach out to your account team and they can connect you directly with a member of our ServiceNow OCISO team to discuss your specific questions.
@Chris Dinger would you be able to assist?
