New leader for RVA SNUG?

After nearly 15 years at CarMax that includes a decade shaping, scaling, and stewarding the ServiceNow platform, I was recently impacted by the company’s reduction in force. I’m grateful for the RVA ServiceNow community that has been a constant source of collaboration and curiosity.

As I take time to navigate my next professional home, I’ll be stepping down as the SNUG Leader for Richmond. This community deserves someone who can give the Spring event the attention and energy it deserves. If interested, reply here or contact @tracyo_brien.

Lastly, if your organization is looking for a seasoned principal analyst, platform owner, or someone who can bring both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, I’d welcome a conversation. You can learn more about my background and work at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cblaiseg/

My passion sits at the intersection of platform ownership and human‑centered problem solving through workflow. I love turning ambiguity into structure and creating experiences that delight platform requesters and fulfillers to make their work lives easier.

Thank you, RVA SNUG, for the support, the ideas, and the camaraderie. I’m looking forward to staying connected as I take this next step.

I've not yet heard from @tracyo_brien . I'll send a DM to help facilitate the transition.

@c_blaisegregory - Thanks

Hello!

ServiceNow will no longer be hosting the annual SNUG event in Richmond. where we worked with SNUG Leaders to be a conduit to plan the meetings.  Instead, we’re providing an opportunity to lead a more community-driven experience.

What this means:
• Interested customers can lead more grassroots SNUG events with community support and resources
• This shifts ownership to practitioners who want to create regular, locally-focused experiences

What’s available to peer-led chapters:
• Event planning resources
• Access to content and speaker networks
• Community- dedicated event platform
• Connection to regional SNUG leaders and best practices

If Matthew or other SNUG members would like to organize peer-led events, connect with other local practitioners, or speak at future gatherings, let us know here:

Thank you for your continued engagement with the ServiceNow community.

I actually prefer a more community directed approach.  I would be more interested in participating.  While I am not actually in Richmond, Gordonsville to be accurate, I would like to be engaged.
