Our Rising Stars share a commitment to learning, being present with others, and showing themselves skilled in all things ServiceNow.

Get ahead. Grow. Shine. Become a ServiceNow Rising Star!

We launched the Rising Star Community Program to recognize ServiceNow Practitioners who like to share their experiences and have grown their reputation as content contributors in the ServiceNow Community.

Whether new to the industry or a seasoned professional, you may be interested in gaining a network of friends and building your reputation as a trusted ServiceNow content contributor.

Rising Stars act as shining connectors in several ways: they bring awareness to what's happening with ServiceNow, share their knowledge in public spaces to add value, and positively set an example for how to start being more involved in the ecosystem.

How you can become a Rising Star

ServiceNow Rising Stars uphold our values and contribute helpful original content throughout the year.

Rising Stars contribute content that demonstrates their awareness of the ServiceNow ecosystem and/or their hands-on knowledge of the platform. When you apply for ServiceNow Rising Star, be mindful of the following criteria:

1. Your content is original (authored or co-authored by you).
2. Your content is up-to-date (not posted more than a year ago).
3. Your content is relevant to ServiceNow.
4. Your content is publicly available to the community.
5. Your content demonstrates your awareness of the ServiceNow ecosystem and/or your hands-on knowledge of the platform.

Ways to show your awareness of the ServiceNow ecosystem:
1. Cover conversational trends or hot topics regarding ServiceNow
2. Showcase your experiences or career journey with ServiceNow
3. Highlight useful ServiceNow content and add your own perspective

Ways to show your hands-on knowledge of the ServiceNow platform:
1. Share your tips, experiences, and/or advice for ServiceNow practitioners
2. Highlight useful ServiceNow content and add your own perspective

Community is filled with many ideas, topics, and activities by those who feel inspired to share. ServiceNow Rising Stars contribute original content that demonstrates their awareness of the ServiceNow ecosystem and/or their hands-on knowledge of the platform.

If a ServiceNow Rising Star is motivated to become a ServiceNow MVP, then the content they submit must demonstrate their own hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform. MVPs are selected based on their reputation, leadership abilities, validity of their hands-on technical contributions, and how well they uphold the core values of the Most Valued Professionals Community Program.

Nomination process

Nominations are open between June 30th - July 11th and candidates must reapply each term.

Self-Nominate

Community members self-nominate by completing the application. If you nominate a peer, we will contact them with the link to apply.

2. Review

Applications are reviewed over the next few weeks by the ServiceNow Community team. Applicants may reach out with questions.

3. Announce

Official ServiceNow announcements are shared in a community blog post towards the end of July. Awardees will receive additional details.

Whether a candidate has technical or non-technical skills, they can be part of the high-growth ServiceNow ecosystem. ServiceNow Practitioners within the ServiceNow Community who are looking to get more recognition contribution efforts would benefit from this program.

In addition to meeting the Program Core Values and Eligible Contributions stated above, ServiceNow Rising Stars will only be considered if the following is true:

Has involvement with Online Community:
Registered Member of the ServiceNow Community
Has contributed original content recently
Has a relationship to ServiceNow:
Customers, Partners, or Independent Contributors

Please note: ServiceNow Employees are NOT eligible for this external program.

The membership term remains active for 1 year and 6 months. Members can apply to other ServiceNow programs while participating in the Rising Star Program.

Your contributions would be disqualified for consideration if the following is not upheld:

• Must make reference to others' content if used
• Must not plagarize or misuse AI (verbatim AI generated)
• Must not plagiarize product documentation
• Must not rehash easily available information

Contributions within the last year must be posted throughout the year (between January through November).

The Rising Stars Community Program is exclusive, fun, and inspiring. Our goals for you while in this program are to support your efforts as a ServiceNow practitioner and to recognize you for your helpful content.

The Rising Stars program helps to motivate and empower community members who are already sharing valuable content with others. Through fellowship with Rising Stars and trusted guidance from Most Valued Professionals, you are equipped with the information you need to become a top contributor in the future.
