Salary range for ServiceNow Developer/Admin with no experience

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you guys can give me an idea of how much a ServiceNow Developer/Administrator makes? I am currently doing an internship with ServiceNow and learning a lot about the Now Platform. I am preparing to take my CSA exam this January and going to be looking for a job after that. I want to be prepared for the interview when they ask me how much salary should I expect, Hope you guys can help me out. The only experience I have is taking some of the courses on Now Learning and I have my PDI that I have been just playing around with almost everyday to be more familiar about everything that I have learned with the ServiceNow Fundamentals Course, I have also taken ITSM fundamentals and other courses. My 8 years of experience does not really relate to IT because I am currently in the Navy as an Electrician but I really am looking forward for a career change. Happy new year to everyone!

Please search online and glassdoor (literally searching the salaries section on the site and using search term: servicenow system administrator - san diego, ca -- resulted in an average salary, etc.) and other resources for information close to this topic.

We are unable to provide that here on the forums and the salary varies, especially in the current climate, with remote being a common option and some organizations adjusting their salaries per region where you are, etc.

You're also doing an internship with ServiceNow? So you'd have access to many peers and the instructors and as part of that course (if it's the military SN transition program) then they would help cover that towards the end, I believe.

Since you would have 0 real world experience with ServiceNow beyond labs and courses and such, then you would be at the starting range of any ServiceNow salary most likely. Again, please use other online resources that have conducted these types of surveys and have feedback from many others to help guide you!

The above should help give you a rough idea and hopefully also explain why us here on the forums wouldn't be able to accurately give you a range anyway due to all the different variables. I feel like in your intern program, you'd have an intimate enough setting with your class and instructors that you may be able to ask that and get more of an honest answer there.
