REST API Error "[ERROR CODE: 404 ] Method failed: (/api/ariel/searches/undefined/results) with code: 404"

Dear All,

I am getting the below error whenever the REST API call initiated from ServiceNow to MidServer to get the multiple destination ip from QRadar Offense.

[ERROR CODE: 404 ] Method failed: (/api/ariel/searches/undefined/results) with code: 404

Not only Multiple Destination IP, This happens for Multiple Source IP and Rule Name.

Before we used to get the above datas from QRadar automatically. But the issue started after QRadar Team upgrade their QRadar Version. After the upgrade the REST API functionality is stopped working.

When we ask the QRadar (IBM) Vendor, They are telling us to check in ServiceNow end and there is no issue at QRadar end. 😞 I am struggling a lot to identify the Root Cause for this issue.

Can somebody help me to identify the Root Cause and also Solution.

Hi,

Is their API endpoint behind some firewall or present in their internal network? first check this

you can test this using Postman tool

If it is in internal network then next check whether the Mid server installed in client internal network and whether the endpoint can be accessed from that mid server or not
