I wanted to know that if the CI is retired in ServiceNow CMDB, and there is a Vulnerable item created for it in closed state, how would the Remediation target rules run for those VITs?
If the VIT matches the condition for any of the rule, would the Remediation target date & status get updated?
I see many such VITs in our client instance that were created in Closed state due to retired CI, but the Remediation status showed 'In-flight'.
This issue was seen till 2024.
Curious to know what should be the OOB behavior in this scenario.
