Acorio is the world’s largest 100% ServiceNow exclusive consultancy. We are hiring for a Director of Technical Consulting to set the strategy, vision and execution plan for the cost effective delivery of world-class ServiceNow services and customer success outcomes for the Technical Consulting organization.
A day in the life: As a member of the leadership team, you will partner closely with the VP of Delivery and Practice Leads to build and maintain a delivery model that sets technical standards and ensures organization-wide adherence to Acorio delivery methodology and best practices. You will oversee a team of distributed ServiceNow Architects and ensure that the organization is continuously improving technical execution and driving efficiencies and will also contribute to developing compelling solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Responsible for determining technical capacity needed by the organization to meet demands. Develop and maintain a plan for proactively keeping team current with release changes and identify skills gaps and the approach for closing the gap through training, enablement and hiring.
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in professional services, technical consulting or customer success for technology services and/or product companies. 5+ years in a management role leading technical delivery of professional services.
- Experience interfacing with customers, managing product implementations, and growing teams.
- Experience managing a nationally distributed technical team in a dynamic, fast-growth environment.
- Strategic, clear vision of quality execution and can describe it to others.
- Delegate appropriately to ensure goals that support the vision are achieved.
- Bias toward action- initiate & drive solutions.
- Demonstrably superb verbal communications skills, including a dynamic and engaging presentation style that inspires confidence.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile, project management principles, SaaS environments.
- Past experience in a hands-on technical role with understanding of relational databases, web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services).
- Comprehensive understanding of the ServiceNow Enterprise product suite or similar enterprise software (ServiceNow desired).
- ITIL certification desired.
