About the Team

The Technology Spa Cloud Transformation Team seeks to help clients modernize IT Teams and functional business departments around integrated strategies, industry best practices and actionable business goals. We set to establish a Center of Excellence within the core client groups and scale to the enterprise. We level set with ITIL and SAFe business process frameworks tailored to the business to reduce effort and increase time to production while improving operational efficiency. We bring organizational change at the speed of the business. 

The ServiceNow developer within the Technology Spa team is an integral component of a team supporting multiple clients’ organizational and digital transformation. Management of and creation of the portal and ServiceNow modules in an IT organization is a crucial job to keep the ITIL service lifecycle. Experience in IT operations, process analysis, Business Service Management, and service discovery. The successful candidate should demonstrate a deep knowledge of IT Operations processes and frameworks (Agile/Scrum, SDLC, ITIL, etc.) and equivalent process improvement methodologies.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementations, build framework structure/templates for capturing technical information on module implementations for clients
  • Support customer and other vendor team members to assess the technical feasibility of the business requirement and implementation of the solution
  • Triage and support ServiceNow technical issues
  • Follow development best practices, architecture, code review checklist, provide technical leadership and mentoring the client ServiceNow Team(s)
  • Design solutions for in-scope system integration, create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other platforms
  • Implementation of approved apps from ServiceNow application store
  • Technical oversight of activities for vendor resources on an as-needed basis for project work/Steady state
  • Support platform performance audits and remediation activities
  • Analyze requirements and implement solutions to in-scope enhancements to the ServiceNow platform per documented requirements and deliverables
  • Develop in-scope integrations between the Client ServiceNow system and external systems
  • Support patching and upgrades to the ServiceNow Platform

 

Basic Requirements

  • Service Now Certification (Admin/ Implementation highly preferred; Developer)
  • Min 1 - 3 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • 2 or more years of development experience using the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with the use of Agile methodologies for software development
  • Prior ServiceNow implementation experience.
  • Experience developing, updating, and interpreting JavaScript on the ServiceNow platform
  • In-depth knowledge of development on the ServiceNow Platform, ServiceNow REST APIs, and custom widget development in Service Portal.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM, HRSD, GRC/IRM, CSM, CMDB/CSDM, ITSM, and Safe WorkPlace modules

 

Highly Preferred Skills

  • ITIL Process understanding
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions by mapping customer’s business processes
  • Experience in conducting User Training and supporting User Acceptance Testing to get customer sign-off on the projects
  • Experience in Pre-sales activities such as RFPs, solution design & effort estimation
  • Possess excellent written and verbal business communication skills to communicate and make executive-level presentations to the customers as well as organizational
  • Ability to learn and adopt new technologies as well staying current on existing ones, pursuing experience and certifications in leading-edge or primary technology areas
