Job Description- Service Now Developer

Trilogy is hiring a full time ServiceNow developer with an option to work remote. The candidate will work to ensure that our ServiceNow Instance and application are maintained and working properly.   This is a cross-functional role that works directly with project stakeholders to identify requirements and constraints, estimate timeframes, designs and implements technical solutions. They will work in a consultative manner gathering business requirements of internal customers, assessing business needs, and designing and developing business solutions. This role will also work with multiple systems, protocols, tools and will be expected to bring new solutions to automate manual processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and support for both out-of-the-box installation as well as internal customizations of the ITSM application.
• Work with the organization to design, code, test and deploy new applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Stay current in knowledge of ServiceNow and respond to business needs and make recommendations for future processes.  
• Develop code, test, debug, maintain, modify, and install modules and programs.
• Manage enhancement requests & updates to the existing platform
• Provide continuous improvement and development on the ServiceNow platform
• Document work throughout the SDLC process
• Follow existing development internal and industry best practices.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues, document root cause analysis, and communicate with leadership on issues
• Ensure modules, upgrades and new tools are designed, configured, tested and maintained to meet/exceed functional specifications.
• Ensure that updates are successfully migrated into production.
• Manage issues regarding operations, including configuration, error messages, on-line transactions, system status and downtime procedures, etc.
• Ensure end user satisfaction by providing maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolving problems and advanced communications of new and enhanced functionality.
• Will be the primary liaison with stakeholders throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow ITSM suite of applications
• 2+ years of experience scripting, building workflows, approvals and notifications
• 2+ years of experience with the ServiceNow Service Portal
• Extensive experience with JavaScript
• Proficient in JSON, HTML/CSS, XML, Web Services, etc.
• Ability to follow written policies and processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to details and accuracy in work
• Excellent documentation skills
• Associate degree or equivalent is preferred
• English proficiency is a must
