Covestic is currently seeking a ServiceNow Administrator/Consultant to join our team working remotely on key client accounts. The ServiceNow Administrator should have a fundamental understanding of IT Service Management and the ITIL business processes experience defining business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and practice in estimating scope/effort of developing ServiceNow functionality. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing daily administration, troubleshooting and resolution for multiple ServiceNow environments on behalf of Covestic's clients
- Analyzing, logging and estimating all requests for incident assistance, enhancements and maintenance
- Configuring ServiceNow applications to support customer enhancement requests
- Incident Management/Defect resolution support and escalating application defects to ServiceNow as needed
- Performing regular environment maintenance
- Reporting and dashboard development
- Performing data imports
- Escalating advanced scripting and development tasks to Technical Consultant team members as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in overall service management with a strong working knowledge of various ServiceNow applications such as Service Desk, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management and Service Catalog/Service Request Management
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to resolve technical issues
- 1+ year of hands-on experience administering ServiceNow
- 2+ years of experience using JavaScript, XML, and HTML
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow System Administration certification
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification
