ServiceNow@IBM ITSM Developer Application

Description:

IBM CIO is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer that possesses advanced administration capability and can design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. The Developer works across applications, delivers new functionality, innovative solutions and supports the entire development lifecycle. The ServiceNow Application Developer has a software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow. 
 
This job is onsite in Southbury, CT (United States) 
 
Responsibilities:
Lead all technical aspects of the solution delivery within ServiceNow’s ITSM solution, including:

  • Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
  • Development of required integration components using REST, SSO, LDAP, etc.
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements and works them to completion
  • Creation and delivery of solutions for clients
  • Assists ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort
  • Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution
  • Provides mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators
  • Continually learn and obtain education for new ServiceNow applications and functionality
  • Work in an Agile and DevOps CI/CD environment

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript, Web Services, Jelly)
  • Experience with software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Deployment and Maintenance
  • Experience with GitHub or similar Code Repository solutions

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM Applications: Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Service Desk, Knowledge, Service, Configuration and Asset Management.
  • Experience in ServiceNow development and configuring workflows; including, the ability to develop requirements based on client interview
  • Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Experience with Enterprise IT Service Management
  • Experience with PaaS and SaaS environments
  • Experience working in an Agile and/or DevOps environment
