Hi everyone,
I'm currently not working in a ServiceNow environment, but I'm considering relocating and looking for ways to make myself a more attractive hire. I have quite a bit of ITSM management experience, but not with ServiceNow and I'm thinking about obtaining the SN System Administrator certification. Would this certification be valuable for someone in my situation? I'm hoping it will enhance my resume and open up new opportunities in the field. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated, especially from those who have been in a similar position.
Thanks in advance for your help!

To start in SN, CSA is the first and basic cert and training. No doubt you are working in the ITSM domain but to start in SN , go for CSA training and then cert. You can watch Batch11 playlist on my channel to learn about CSA.

Hi @shrlckphones ,
I second with @Dr Atul G- LNG and recommending to watch youtube channel.
You can also register on nowlearning portal and choose the career jounry, there are many fee courses and micro-cerficate available to complete and show case your leanring journey on resume.
So spend around 6 month on the learning path and complete some micro-certificate then plan for CSA.
Refer the below post for CSA learning jounry.
-Thanks,

Hi @shrlckphones ,
Please remember, to just take a certification doesn't provide any value if you don't work with ServiceNow - Neither to your career or to you as a person. In general, I would recommend you to get familiar with the platform at first and play around with a PDI.

CSA will be first step but after that you can go for CIS- ITSM [Implementer] - It will help you more. Certifications helps only in shortlisting your profile in Jobs but in interview your knowledge and concepts speaks. My suggestion will be Focus on learning more and more and [Through PDI, you tube Videos, Developer.servicenow.com>>Learn module, Now learning etc.] once you grab the concepts and have a bit hands on then go for Certification.
