SI Control Tower pages ship with default cards, titles, and visualizations. Workspace administrators can adjust these so each page matches your organization's terminology, reporting period, and level of detail. This article explains what you can configure, how to configure a card, and how the changes behave.

Key Terms

Card: A tile on an AI Control Tower page that displays a count, chart, or ranked list.

Presentation settings: Options that control how a card displays its data, such as title, chart type, labels, and row count.

Condition: A filter that limits a card to a subset of records from a table on your instance.

Workspace administrator: The role required to edit cards on AI Control Tower pages.

What you can configure

Every configurable card exposes presentation settings. The available options depend on the card, but typically include:

  • Card title and subtitle
  • Chart type, data labels, and legends
  • Number of rows and sort order in a ranked list
  • A condition, for cards that read directly from a table on your instance
  • Access roles

Note: Cards that retrieve data from an API support the modification of presentation settings only. You will not be able to configure the condition builder.

Requirements

  • Your instance must be upgraded to at least:
    • Zurich Patch 13+
    • Australia Patch 7+
    • Brazil Patch 1+
  • The plugin sn_app_aict_ui must be on version 4.0.0 or above
  • You must have the sn_ai_governance.workspace_admin role

How to configure a card

  1. Go to AI Control Tower > Home, then navigate to the page you want to configure.
  2. Select the edit icon to enter editor mode. If you cannot see the edit icon, then please ensure you have the sn_ai_governance.workspace_admin role. Eliza_0-1793224751598.png

  3. A configuration control will appear on each card you can change.
  4. Make your modifications within the editor that appears. To see your changes, simply close the card editor. Your changes will automatically be applied.

Note that any changes made apply across all users, so ensure you are making changes that all users of the control tower will find useful.
  5. If you wish to return to the default version, you can either clear the fields with your modifications within the card editor manually or click the downward facing arrow icon to open up a submenu that contains the Restore defaults option.
