How do I add a quick link to the main landing page in ec pro?

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to add an external link to the quick links widget on the main page...any step by step?

Hi there,

What is the exact issue you are running into? I just reproduced, and within 1-2 minutes it's working.

In Platform UI:

1. Created a Quick Link
2. Selected Content type = External link
3. Created the External link, and selected this in the External link field

On Employee Center:

1. ctrl+right mouse click on the Quick link widget to open the instance options
2. on the bottom, add the Quick link created to the Quick links field (do have the correct Application Scope active!)
3. Save

I'm unable to add to the quick link widget - the instance options is greyed out..I'm in the right scope...

Don't know why it would be read-only.

Could you try going directly to the Widget Instance? Service Portal > Widget Instances, and search for the widget.

Within the Widget Instance, there should be a field "Additional options, JSON format". There the Instance Options are actually store. You can edit it there directly, though it's a bit more tricky because it is formatted in JSON.

I'm not sure what's wrong with mine...maybe there's a way to repair it;  I've tried several different things but the widget instance is empty, is there something I could be missing?
