This behavior mainly due to the change in UI. In London release Planning Console is upgraded and all the related JS files need to be refreshed at the client's browser
Solution: Try clearing the browser cache.
2> PPM Version in London or later releases where new planning console is activated
If planning console is struck to load and if browser console log is showing error like below
Solution: Verify state dictionary attributes for planned_task, pm_project_task and pm_project are defined and configured properly as per documentation. Refer Documentation to Configure Planning Console Columns
Solution: Ensure state of any task is in WIP or Closed states and relevant actual dates are not left blank
3> Don't use the Planning Console module link to launch the Planning Console. It will lead to inconsistent behavior in the console. Use Planning Console UI action from Project form.
4> If planning console is taking time to load the Gantt UI, please check if Show Weekend option is enabled. The Gantt tries to render each task's day cell when this option is enabled. If the option is disabled while task grid renders as image. So enabling Show Weekend option has a performance impact.
