Applying a template does not work in the Workspace view

Hi,


We have the option to apply templates in SPM. I uploaded projects using the Import Set, but applying a template does not work in the Workspace view for these imported (external) projects. However, the same action works correctly in the Classic view for external projects.

When a project is created from scratch, applying a template works in both Classic and Workspace views.

can anyone please help me understand why templates are not applying in Workspace view for imported projects or if this is a known limitation.

Check this ServiceNow KB arcticle. May be it is the probable cause -  "Template is using an incorrect field"

 

There is a template is not applying in Service Operations Workspace
