Auto-populate Template Field on Project Form via 'Apply Template' UI Action in SPM

In the SPM module, I created a new field called 'Template' on the Project table form. When a user selects a template using the 'Apply Template' UI action, I want the selected template name to automatically populate in the 'Template' field on the form. How can I achieve this?

Thanks for your response. I reviewed the suggested link and attempted the approach, but unfortunately, the code is not working as expected in my case.
