CIO Roadmap error

I have a timeline visualization that only works in 2D; when I try to view it in 3D I receive an error message: 'No panels available - To view the Timeline Visualization, verify the configuration settings'. I doubt anything was changed from the OOB settings (CIO Roadmap) since I just activated the teamspace plugin. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi,

As per OOB configuration 2D visualization displays Project by its planned/actuals end months and 3D view displays brings third dimension of Portfolios. It displays project completions month by Portfolios, the lanes are portfolios.

If you haven't changed OOB Timeline configuration then please verify whether you have any portfolios records or the projects associated with any of the portfolios or security restrictions preventing you from accessing Portfolios. 

You can verify the lane configuration from module Project Administration > Timeline visualization.

In my case, if the Project end dates were older than 6 months, they wouldn't display. Go to the list of Projects (for CIO Roadmap) and adjust the Planned End Date, or list of Demands for (Demand Roadmap) and adjust the Due Date fields. If this works, feel free to mark it as an accepted solution.
