Creating a Story from a Demand

Hello,

Is there a way to create a story directly from a Demand? We have seen the ability to create enhancements and projects, but we are looking to create and link story records to a completed demand.

Any help is appreciated!

In the Orlando version, there is no way to create a story directly from a Demand OOTB. You can do it in the Paris version which is shown in the picture above.

This is available OOB with Agile Development 2.0 plugin.

If you don't have agile 2.0 plugin, then you can business rule on demand to create story after demand is completed.

We do have Agile 2.0 and have been working in that area for several years, but we are now looking to implement Idea/Demand, but we don't see a way to create a story from a Demand at this point.

You need to make sure that demand type is "Story" or "SAFe Story" to get UI action , related link on demand form to convert demand into story.

We must be missing a configuration or a plugin. We only see project and enhancement types when choosing the strategic category.
