We've started using CWM and have noticed a couple anomolies with entering start/end dates on CWM tasks in the task board list view:
1. When entering a new task and entering start and end dates, the dates will sometimes revert to a date in the 0000-0009 range. Hard to replicate but seems to happen only for new tasks in the list view when using the keyboard and typing dates rather than using the calendar control.
2. When modifying start/end dates, the dates will automatically submit when entering just a portion of the date (MM or DD or YYYY) using the keyboard. It does not wait for an 'Enter', 'Tab' or 'Mouse Click' event to register.
Anyone else experiencing this behavior and any recommendations on how to correct?

Hi Jonah,
Can you please provide platform version and CWM version so that we will verify this?
Also what is the date format being used.
Best Regards,
Sunil B N

This seems to happen when we create a new task, mouse click into the date, modify the date, and the click 'Enter' on keyboard.
- Platform Version is Xanadu Patch 7-02-27-2025
- CWM version is 6.0.0 (we were having the issue with 5.0.0 as well)
- Date Format is MM-dd-yyyy
Attaching a screenshot of what we are seeing (see 1st 2 tasks after clicking enter).

Hi Jonah.
Thanks for sharing the details.
We are able to reproduce this issue. Please note that this happens only on in-line task creation. We will try fix in the next release. At the moment- we don't have any workarounds for the issue. Nevertheless, after task creation - dates can be updated.
Thanks and regards,
Sunil B N

Thanks @Sunil B N - have you had a chance to look at the other date entry issue, and if that is on the radar as a problem and if it is planned for a fix (being able to only enter one part of a date at a time).
