Hi Community,
I have some questions in the attached diagram. From my understanding, Enhancement one type of change/improvement to existing service/product in the instance. However, if so, why Change is the next step of Enhancement? In addition, change is part of ITIL process, while enhancement is from Agile. How come these 2 connected?
With regard to Change, one stage is implementation. Why release is needed after Change?
Thank you all.

Hi @major li ,
Enhancement = idea to improve or add something new.
To actually put that improvement into production, it must go through a Change = approval + risk check step.
After the change is approved and ready, it might be bundled with other changes into a Release = bigger package of updates rolled out together.
Think of it like this:
Enhancement (wish) → Change (permission to do it) → Release (delivery to users).

hi @pavani_paluri,
Thank you. It is very logic.
However, we have idea, demand, why do we need enhancement to be another "wish"?
