We are currently implementing SPM, and we have come across an issue where I need some help.
We use EURO for our organisation's currency and to track expenses. We have demand management in multi-currency format where the financial baselines are seen in legacy view and it is working fine,
For project when i am clicking on Manage button on Cost Plan Related list it is taking me to Project Workspace and there all the financials are shown in dollars,
Is there any way we can show the values in Euros there. I edited the Left Panel form the Workspace config and able to fetch the Total Planned cost in project currency field but it is not reflecting on the widgets?
Is there a list in which application multi currency is not supported or am i doing something wrong here?
Regards
Ashish

Hey, Ahsish. This could be an interesting one to unpick.
I just want to check one thing first: the 'Manage' button on cost plans is on the legacy project view. Have you tried using the Financials tab on the Project Workspace? Does it give the same limitation? I know we're all very attached to the old UI, but the Project Workspace really is worlds better as an experience for end users, and if you're just implementing now, it would be ideal to get the Project Workspace at the front of everyone's experience.
One other thing, is the account you're using set up with Dollars as its default currency, like the Admin account or something? It may not make a difference in the old UI, though.

You might need to do a revision of your system properties that drive the currency, see if this article might help 🙂
How to use different currencies on a ServiceNow instance - Support and Troubleshooting
I've had a look in the system and found these 2 script includes:
- ProjectCurrencyUtil - called in 2 fields from Cost Plan: Entered currency and Functional currency, in their default values
- PPMCurrencyHelper - called in the Financials widgets you were mentioning about and are listed here: https://[instance name].service-now.com/now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/sn_app_widget_list.do%3Fsysparm_clear_stack%3Dtrue%26sysparm_nostack%3Dtrue
I don't have enough experience with multicurrency so I'd just check each component one by one and if you wanna go the extra mile, worth requesting a blank PDI instance and do some testing there to see what's the right combo/updates required to get to your solution.

Hi Ashish,
Multi-currency is not yet supported in the new Project Workspace. It is being released in Dec 2025 store release. If you upgrade project workspace to the dec store release and do the required upgrade tasks, you would be able to see the project currency values on the new project workspace. Please refer the release notes and documentation for additional information.
