Planning Costs per Project Task (Resource Assignments and other Cost Plans)

Hi Community,

I am currently facing the challenge of implementing these requirements.

The requirement is: I want to plan my costs per project task in detail in the projects. In other words, I want to be able to calculate that this work package with the resource assignment will cost €10,000.
I used to be able to do this with Resource Plans by adding the related lists and allowing the PMs to carry out the planning at project task level. A resource plan also has information like planned cost, allocated cost, actual cost.

With Resource Assignments, this information on planned costs, allocated costs and actual costs is no longer stored in the table.
The ‘Generate labour cost’ job creates cost plans, but these are then on the project itself and not on the project task.
Is it possible 1. to change this Generate Labor Cost job so that the planned costs and actual costs are created on the project tasks 2. or is there another way in which I can plan both software costs and labour costs on project tasks and make them transparent?
I am very grateful for feedback and tips!
