Possibility to Merging Multiple Demands into a Single Demand

In Strategic Portfolio Management, can we merge multiple demands into one single demand? For example, if we have 10 demands, is it possible to bring them all together into one, along with their tasks, cost plans, resources, and other related data ?,  Right now, we can add demands as child records or group them under a program, but that doesn’t really combine everything in the financial section. We can also set dependencies at the portfolio level, but still need to track each demand separately. Is there a way to fully merge them into one?

@makmishra This doesn't seems to be an OOB feature. You will have to build something custom. For suggestion:

You can create a List menu item type UI action which will work on selected demand record and merger all the required data you want into a single demand record and set that record as parent of all demands you selected.

@makmishra Were you able to get solution to this?

@kaushal_snow  and @RaghavSh :  When adding multiple demands there are several important considerations. Each demand may have its own resource plans, time cards, cost plans, ROI, and other financial elements. The first question is how these can be linked or rolled up to a parent demand. The second point is about the demand lifecycle : in this case the child demands will never be converted into projects .

This raises an important question : would it be more effective to manage them through a program instead of a parent demand? If so, how could a program be structured to support this scenario. and what would be the possible ways to achieve the required roll-ups and visibility through the program and from strategic planning workspace (portfolio)

@makmishra What you are asking for is a full project in itself and require lot of customisation, which will be a technical debt and has to be maintained by developers in future .

so it is not recommended to go this route. Merging demands was fine but changing flows will not be easy and recommend.
