To explain the issue I'll use one example.
We have two stories X and Y , when I was working on X I realize X is dependent of Y. So I when to the related list and updated Y as dependent story of X .
Now as prerequisite and dependent refer for same table they , my Y should become prerequisite of X as per general login can ServiceNow architecture as well.
Now OOB they both use same list layout and thus in both the related list it shows only the dependent stories. If anyone has faced this issue is there any change we should make.

I don't clearly understand what you want to do but we can easily see dependency between 2 stories on Planning board.
I created Story X and Story Y, then make dependency for each story.
Story Y is a dependent story from Story X.

Hi Kenta
Thanks for your comment and doing the setup. Apologies for the delay as I lost the track of this requirement.
As per your configuration Y is the dependent story of X. So now if I go to story Y and check for the dependency, you will identify that system shows you that Y itself if dependent of Y. Although I believe it should show X as prerequisite.

Hi @Shubham Gupta5 ,
Your understanding is correct that Y hould show X as a pre-requisite and that is what actually shown in the system as well.
Story 'ABC' shows story 'XYZ" as a dependent story.
whereas 'story' XYZ' will show story 'ABC' as its pre-requisite.
Hope this clarifies.
Thank You!
