Project Workspace stuck "Fetching Projects" after adding new tab

I found the tabs created in the Project Workspace are handled by a data broker script. I wanted to build out more tabs, so users wouldn't have to fiddle with the filters all the time. I was successful in adding a new tab and the day I added it, I had no problems switching between the tabs and it applying the filters I set fine. I revisited this today and discovered now every time I go under the new tab I created there is a just a spinning circle saying fetching projects. I have done all the usual clearing instance and browser caches to no avail. This issue has to be related to creating the new tab, but why, and is there any way to resolve this?
