Xanadu Patch 1
for example, we created 2 operational assignments for Cleo Lane... one for KTLO and one for Admin... in resource management workspace, the RA number is displayed but there is no way to tell what an assignment is for... see screenshot below...
we have no way of knowing which is KTLO or which is Admin or whatever... we wanted to know if we can add Operational work type to provide more information on the resource assignments that are displayed. Thank you!

Was provided with the following steps to add another field, such as operational work type, to the display by Now Support:
- Go to the sn_plng_att_core_resource_assignment table
- Change the view to "Resource Manager"
- Right click on one of the column names (for example, right click on "Resource") and go to Configure List Layout
- Click Edit this view and move the "Operational work type" from the Available slush bucket to the Selected slush bucket
- Go to the Resource Management Workspace
- Click on the column configuration icon on the right hand sidebar
- Scroll down to the bottom and click "Reset columns"
- See that the "Operational work type" column now shows on the workspace
- Refresh the page again and see the column populated

Hello @mah1 ,
I have followed your steps and it works as expected. However, not all cells for the column are filled... which is wierd.
I have added the resource's location to the 'Resource Manager' view and it displays on the workspace, visible on the image. However, it only shows for the Resouce Assignments, not for the Operational Assignments... Is there a way to fix this?
Furthermore, the fitler for the fields I add don't seem to work properly. Anyone have experience this issue?
Thanks,

Hi @Felipe365 ,
Can you see location when you look at operational assignments outside of Resource Management Workspace?
I vaguely recall some issue with filtering using custom fields. It has been quite a while since I worked on this and have not been able to pursue it due to other priorities. Sorry I can't help with this.

Hi @mah1 ,
Yes, I can access the location from the operational assignment from the classic view. It uses the same field as the resouce assginemnt (resource.location). From the classic view I can properly view the location field and filter accordingly.
I will open another post on the community to see if anyone can help with this. If not, I'll open a ticket with ServiceNow.
Thanks,
Felipe
