ServiceNow,
When will the resource management workspace include the ability to see resource assignments against demands in the resource cards/boards?
The Overview Dashboard includes resource assignments against demands in all the single score widgets, but when you click through, the resulting resource board doesn't include assignments against demands. Our stakeholders think that the resource workspace has a problem because of the difference in the single score widget counts and the resulting click through resource board.
Thanks for your help!

I think the challenge here comes from the fact the purpose of the resource assignments on the Demand is different to the purpose they have on a Project.
As I understand it, the Resource Assignments on a Demand record show a picture of the effort that would be needed to deliver this work if it was approved and delivered (eg converted to a Project, an Epic or other record). That means, because this work is still theoretical, these resources shouldn't have their allocations blocked at this point.
This is very different to the way Resource Assignments behave when you're creating them against a project. If the resource isn't available on the date requested, then you can't create the resource assignment. That's because this work is already approved, so this is a hard requirement. Resource Assignments on a Demand aren't treated the same way.
If you are using Demands for fulfilment activities, or your aim is to track the work of a Demand Manager in updating and reviewing Demands - then it may help to consider that as operational work. The work the user is doing is not seen as an investment in the project, but an essential, operational activity that would need to happen regardless of the project being reviewed. If they'd spend 50% of their time reviewing Demands (for example) regardless of how many there are, then this could be the right approach.
If you're using time cards, making sure the Demand Manager is the assignee on the demand will enable them to time card against it.
