Work Notes character count not resetting after posting

I am facing an issue in ServiceNow where the character count in Work Notes does not reset after posting.

Issue Details:

• When I enter text in Work Notes, the character counter increases as expected.
• After clicking Post, the Work Notes get saved correctly.
• However, the character count does not reset to zero and continues to show the previous count.
• Once I manually refresh/reload the form, the counter resets properly.

have you tried impersonating another users to see if it happens for all or just some users?

What browser do you use? You can try alternative browser, eventually incognito mode of the same one.

Last but not least, log out, clear the cache (browsing info) and log in again.
