Job Summary

Under general direction, the ITSM Administrator, Sr. (ServiceNow) position is responsible for executing the long-term vision of the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tool within the ITS Service Delivery Team. This position is the lead application developer and is responsible for the workflow design, deployment, maintenance, support, scripting, operations and enhancements of the ITSM ServiceNow platform and associated applications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Personal Characteristics

Knowledge of disciplined software release build/deploy processes
Knowledge of ITSM ServiceNow best practices, including ITIL V3
Working knowledge of JavaScript, XML, HTML, Single Sign-On technologies, SQL relational databases
Working knowledge of LDAP, MS Active Directory, ADFS, CSS and good web design practices
Working knowledge of service oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
Ability to be technically savvy and to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives
Ability to select, adapt, and effectively uses a variety of programming methods.
Ability to successfully design, develop, and support web-based applications and websites
Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; supplemented with five to eight (5-8) years with ServiceNow administration/development experience, with two of those years serving in a help desk or related environment. ITIL V3 Foundation certification required. ServiceNow administrator certification and experience working in an ITIL environment preferred.
