I am looking into how to setup Virtual Agent to query a knowledge base and one possible solution could be to use AI Search. My company uses an on premise installation of ServiceNow.
I believe requesting AI Search takes time as it involves the provisioning of new hardware.
Is AI Search available on on premise or is it limited to cloud only?

Did you try installing AI for Self-hosted?
We are still in the early phases or getting rid of some legacy ticketing systems and bring workflows into SN.
We are also working on getting databases on more powerful Oracle platforms.
Within a regulated industry we probably would have to have a review process to load AI even if it air-gapped let alone get the funding for the APP server increases.

Hi @jeffreyluto,
Now Assist works as well on-premise; you 'just' need to have the hardware to run it. With Zurich, it also is a little easier to run because you can enable that everything runs on one LLM; before Zurich, you need to modify each skill.
The KBA above will outline more detailed what is available and especially what is not available on-prem.
Hope this helps!
