Automate recurring files import

We have a data source with an excel file and transform map setup in ServiceNow. We attach a new file and run the import once every week. We want to automate it. ServiceNow is cloud based. The file is located in our on premise secured network. We also have a mid server runnign inside the network. What are the options available for the automation?

 

I asked ChatGPT. There seems to be a way to configure data source to use Mid server to reach to the file in our network, but we only see the option when the file type is JDBC. We did not see it for any other types including File. 

 

Any recommendations and details on how to automate it?
