How to edit the availability of users in AWA Agent Presence and Capacities list

When I try to edit the availability in AWA Agent Presence and Capacities it  

and submit or save it returns to the previous offline presence state, how could I make the users always available?

I am trying to allow list edit on presence state, but its security restricted. Based on your post it sounds like you managed to at least get it to edit which is some progress. It seems you never managed to get it to save, curious if you just moved on or found a solution and can share here.

you should deactivate this scheduled job script.

Goto -->System definition>Scheduled jobs> AWA- set inactive agents offline and make this script offline

What steps did you need to take to disable the security restriction in the table? Did you note any unintended effects from disabling the scheduled job?

I'm also keen to understand any impact before i go and disable an OOTB feature
