The current ServiceNow instance contains a large amount of demo/sample data that was automatically populated during the initial setup. This includes sample records such as incidents, users, requests, and other test data that are not required for the current development and testing activities.
To ensure a clean and controlled environment, it is necessary to remove the existing demo data from the instance. This will help avoid confusion with sample records and allow accurate testing, development, and configuration of new functionalities.

Hi @kanhaiya02
https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0550107
Resolution
To request deletion of demo data:
- Go to Now Support.
- Create a case using the instructions in How to create a case on Now Support.
- Enter the following case details:
- Case type: Service request
- Subject: Delete demo data
- Instance(s) impacted: Select the instances from which demo data should be removed
- Provide the following information to describe the issue:
-
- If the instance selected is production:
- Specify whether the removal of demo data has been tested in a non-production instance
- Whether the production instance is live, or
- Whether the request is to remove demo data in a live production instance without testing
- If the instance selected is production:
Note: Demo data removal on production should be successfully verified on a non-production instance that is a recent clone of the production instance.
-
-
- Requested date and time to remove demo data (actual date and time will be based on resource availability).
-

Thank you for your quick support.
I would like to remove the demo data from my Personal Developer Instance (PDI) because I want to implement and test configurations from scratch in a clean environment.
Currently, I understand that support does not handle PDI credentials.
However, I attempted the available options on the Manage Instance page:
Remove Demo Data
Reset Instance
Unfortunately, even after performing these actions, the demo data still remains in my PDI.
Could you please guide me on how I can completely remove the demo/sample data or obtain a fresh instance without the existing demo records?
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Best regards.

It's a PDI. So you know what you are building. If it's related to incidents, remove the demo incidents. If it's related to CMDB, delete all CIs. PDIs are simply not supported, so if the provided solutions don't work, you'll have to delete them yourself.
FYI: removing demo data by ServiceNow causes recent releases to stop working as expected, because they also remove workflows that are still needed, just in case you do succeed and run into that.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.
