Hi Team,
I’m taking the “Welcome to ServiceNow (Xanadu)” Micro-Certification and got stuck on **Assessment Simulator Task 3: Create and Comment on a Record**.
I followed all the steps correctly:
- Created the incident with the given description and short description
- Set impact, urgency, category, subcategory, assignment group
- Pasted the exact comment:
“The software group is investigating similar incidents and will respond when they have a resolution.”
- Used the “Additional Comments (Customer visible)” field
- Clicked Submit
But I keep getting the error message:
**“Did you add and post a comment?”**
Here are my screenshots for proof.
Kindly help me reset this task or fix the simulator.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @arunbalaji2 @anthonydema
I don't have the answers, just an idea... I can see that your form says "New record" in the left upper corner which indicates it has not yet been saved and you directly add the Additional Comment. Nothing to lose, so try to save the incident without the comment, wait a second and then copy it there after it was created...
If you cannot get through that, you can reach out to ServiceNow support or you can skip it as the lab is considered complete when you reach up to 80 %...
Is your lab instance in Yokohama? Type "stats.do" in your filter navigator and press enter..
it is the latest version and there might be some issues...

@GlideFather has the right idea.
@anthonydema I just finished it a few minutes ago. I saved the incident then added the additional comments and validation worked.

@EliseoHernandez thank you for confirmation, this sounds like a typical ServiceNow behaviour 😄
@anthonydema check this, it seems to be the way - first save the incident and then add the comment, not doing it in one step
@arunbalaji2 please review and eventually accept as solution if it works for you, thanks
