Reverse previous ServiceNow ID merge

I have two ServiceNow IDs associated with two email addresses.

A few months ago, I merged my original ServiceNow ID into my second ID. As a result, all of my certifications, badges, learning history, etc. are now on the second ID, while the original ID is empty.

I now want to move the data back to my original ServiceNow ID.

When I log into the original ID and use Merge achievements from another account, I enter and successfully verify the email/OTP for my second ID. However, after verification I receive:

“This action can not be performed currently. Your new email has been added to ServiceNow by your admin. Please accept the SSO invite sent to your new email...”

The email is not a new ServiceNow account; it is an existing account that I previously used and merged.

Can you please confirm whether the previous merge can be reversed, or manually move/re-associate the achievements and certifications back to my original ServiceNow ID?

I have access to both email addresses and both ServiceNow IDs.

Hi @wizrsd

In this case, you can log a now Learning case using your old ID and ask the team to help you with this. You can mention that you’ve already completed the merger and would now like to revert it.

I’m not sure whether reverting the merger is possible, but logging a case is the only option available to request help with this.
