Hi ServiceNow Community,
I am preparing for ServiceNow Administrator roles and also planning to earn the Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
I would appreciate recommendations on the best resources, courses, practice materials, and learning paths to prepare effectively for both interviews and the CSA exam.
Specifically, I would like to know:
• Which training courses, websites, or platforms helped you the most?
• Are there any good mock tests or practice exams for CSA?
• What topics are commonly asked in ServiceNow Administrator interviews?
• Where can I find hands-on assignments, real-world scenarios, projects, or labs to practice ServiceNow administration tasks?
• Are there any platforms, communities, or challenge-based learning resources that can help me gain practical experience and build confidence before applying for Admin roles?
My goal is to strengthen both my theoretical knowledge and practical skills so that I can perform well in interviews and be job-ready.
Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences, recommendations, and learning resources.

Tips for the CSA Exam (Certified System Administrator)
CSA is the first and foundational exam in your ServiceNow journey. Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:
-
Study the training material thoroughly – Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times.
-
Practice the labs multiple times – Do each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just complete them; carefully read and understand the instructions as well.
-
Follow the official eBook – Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce your understanding.
-
-
Watch my experience video – I’ve shared my own preparation journey and tips here:

Good luck on your CSA journey!

Hi @anjalinegi1 ,
ServiceNow University has a lot of great content. Use the on demand courses, do the hands on labs.
Do the Welcome to ServiceNow course and Micro Certification.
Also do the Application Development Fundamentals along with System Administration Fundamentals.
You can find quizlets online to help you better for practice.
