The Endorsement feature enables and empowers trusted experts to identify high quality content on the Community. It gives them the opportunity to evaluate the contributions of other Community members, and to help maintain the standards of the ServiceNow Community in delivering useful and valuable content. This feature is only available for a select group of community members.
Why Endorse Content:
- Brings a higher level of credibility to content
- Makes quality content more visible
- Helps reduce those pesky repetitive questions
- Allows other members to have a greater sense of recognition knowing an expert found their content valuable
- Showcases your expertise by not only creating content, but also identifying other high value content
You can endorse documents, blogs, videos, and replies to discussions/questions.
- For documents, blogs and videos, you can endorse the main post but not the comments.
- If you are the author of a post (blog/document/video/replies), you cannot endorse that post.
How to Endorse
Look for the Endorse link at the bottom right corner of any document, blog or video.
Click on the Endorse link. Once endorsed, the link will change to UnEndorse. Click on it to undo the endorsement. The number increases by 1 for each new endorsement. A blue badge "Endorsement" will appear at the top left corner of the post showing the number of endorsements.
For replies to discussions and questions,look for the Endorse link at the bottom of each reply, next to Helpful and Like.
The Endorsement badge will appear next to the Helpful badge showing the count of endorsed replies. For a given reply, the Endorsement badge will show the count of endorsements it has received.
Clicking on the Endorsed link will display a modal window with details of the endorsed replies.
