Certainly your certificate will expire if you not give and clear the delta exam which happen after every new release.

You need to maintain your certifications by clearing the delta exam (open book & non-proctored), you will get four attempts to clear the delta exam.

Moving forward, ServiceNow won't be conducting delta exams after each release, it would happen annually

Not Really , untill you give Delta exams for new release.

As per the new policy for Delta exam, it would be yearly once.
