Is there a limit of attempts to get the CSA servicenow?. i´ve done my 3rd attempt and now appears this message:

"You have a maximum of 4 attempt to achive the certification" but i´ve paid 100 USD in order to have at least 3 attempts, the other 2 attempt were done using a voucher, the second voucher was sent to me by a Servicenow Technician because of several issues during the first exam.

Thank you

Hi Allen

Thank you for your answer

Obviously no one "agrees" with failing any exam but honestly, i am working with Servicenow since 2016, working with update sets, releases, projects to go to OOTB version, several updgrades, supporting users, creating Data Model, Data Gatherings, Record Producers, and not passing the exam for me it´s quite quite weird.

Regarding the material, i am using what i have, the Fundamentals material (only thing that´s available due there are no official pdf etc), training material and course that will be under payment since next April the first if i am not mistaken.............
If i want to review it i need to pay 300€? and after that pay another 100€ to re take the exam after 14 days?

Otherwise, Mark has been really polite and gave me at least a "clear" answer: Raise a case in "nowlearning" thing that i´ve done last saturday oncei finished the exam (the ticket is in open state)

Thank you

Hi Felipe,

That's great you have experience since 2016. But, to kind of state the other side...that doesn't necessarily mean everything for the certification exam. A lot of what you mentioned would be things towards the Application Developer certification. The system administration exam is more around those fundamentals and terminology. Lots of terms.

For fundamentals, you can review that material if you've enrolled in it and or passed it previously. You aren't kept from it and right now, it's free until the end of March. So if you enroll in it (even if you're worried...you could use an "alternate" account to enroll in it now). This would avoid you having to pay for the course if that's a concern for you. Either way though, if you've enrolled it BEFORE it becomes paid, you're good to go for the course. You don't have to pay on April 1 as you're already enrolled in it (that's only for new enrollees).

Best of luck!

If you don't mind, please review this thread and mark any reply as Helpful, if it has been Helpful and then the Correct answer (I'd assume provided by Mark) as Correct 🙂

Thanks!

Thank you Allen

But from my point of view the great objective that is to learn about how administrate the tool is not fulfilled due i will never know where are my mistakes (if i am really mistaken), and i must trust in an automatic correction template or something similar.

In anyway thank you

Hi,

Alright. I think the main point here is to make sure you are open to possibly understanding that what you think is correct, may not be? When you say things like: well I've been doing it since 2016, I do x and y and z....you're further digging in that you believe you're correct as is. From the exam outcomes, there's some room for improvement, right? So as long as you are open to looking in to everything to see if there may be a different way, then you'll be fine. The issue only gets worse when you think it's just happening to you, you've done this for 4-5 years and somehow your exam is scoring you incorrectly and you want to submit a ticket about it.

In any case, please mark as reply within this thread as Correct, this helps close this out for now and we'd love to hear if you're successful on your next attempt. We're rooting for you to succeed!

Best of luck!

-Allen
