Hello Team,
I am in the middle of the service now, learning the module for the system administrator path. But for clearing the fundamentals of CSA, it's asking me to pay $300. Anyone who can help me with the free voucher for learning?
Also, I know that after the course again, I need to pay for the exam. So a total $600 I need to pay.
Anyone can offer me a free voucher so that at least I can complete the course and then prepare for the exam.
Thanks

Hi @NajeebAhmed
CSA is 2 steps
1. Training: Yes, it is mandatory for anyone or everyone to complete this training. Now question about fee.
If you are working with any ServiceNow partner company, then you can get this training free of cost ( Your company already has an agreement with SN) , if not then you need to pay USD 300 plus taxes.
2. Voucher : After completing training , you will get an email to claim a voucher and the same condition applied. Voucher cost in also costs USD 300 plus taxes.
Total $600 plus taxes if you are not working with a partner company.
There is NO FREE voucher available currenlty.

Hi @manasmallic
Tips for the CSA Exam (Certified System Administrator)
CSA is the first and foundational exam in your ServiceNow journey. Here are some tips to help you prepare effectively:
-
Study the training material thoroughly – Go through it line by line, word by word, at least 2–3 times.
-
Practice the labs multiple times – Do each lab 3–4 times. Don’t just complete them; carefully read and understand the instructions as well.
-
Follow the official eBook – Review it thoroughly at least 2–3 times to reinforce your understanding.
-
Consider supplementary courses – Some candidates have found Udemy courses helpful for additional practice and clarity. If you're preparing for CSA or CAD, try it: https://snowprep.net/
-
Watch my experience video – I’ve shared my own preparation journey and tips here:

Good luck on your CSA journey!

Hello Najeeb,
Yes, you need to pay for the same 600$ (300+300) if you are doing it on your own which I suppose is your case.
But if you are working for a partner then you will get some learning credits/voucher. Also if you are working in an organisation, ask them to reimburse as your upskilling will help them in the longer run.
Please mark it as Helpful and click on "Accept as Solution" if you agree that this could be the right approach.

Syed Taha
