Hi all,
Earlier this week, we patched our instance to Zurich patch 13 after issues arose with our Zurich Patch 12 W41. Also the Zurch 12 patch got forced quite soon, so we did not have the chance to postpone.
Following the earlier patch, certain workflow states were set to "Pending-has not started".
My question to you is 1) How do you cope with issues following a patch? 2) How do you cope with a patch that get's scheduled on Friday for the day after and you might miss it?
Regards,
Jaap

Hi Jaap,
Are you referring to the hotfixes? These are getting applied weekly and you may see that a regular patch (monthly patch) is getting upgraded to Wxx.
What particulary issues did you face with Patch 12 W41?

So the patch that had fixed the earlier issue made it that not all emails were sent.
The thing is that these hotfixes sometimes are planned quite on a short term notice...

Thank you. I am still not sure what you mean with "made it that not all emails were sent".
Can you provide an example? I am always getting nervous reading something like this 🙂
Thanks!

Sure. So looking at the 'System Logs' > 'Emails' you could see Type as 'send-ready' and State as 'Ready'. Not sure what caused this, but after getting in touch we ServiceNow we got it fixed. By reprovisioning the emails and implement a property glide.smtp.ssl.checkserveridentity.enabled setting it to false.
