How to raise a support case with ServiceNow against invalidated certification

I recently discovered that my Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification has been invalidated, and I am now being asked to pay $200 to retake the exam. However, I was not informed about any reasons or policy changes that led to this invalidation.
Would like to check with Support team for any voucher or an alternative way to retake the exam without an additional charge, considering that this was unexpected and not explicitly communicated beforehand.

Hi @skbm7072

As you mentioned, you’ve already logged a case with Now Learning, so you’ll need to wait for an update. No one from the community can help except the Now Learning team. You can request an update on the case. Also, may I know when you appeared for the CSA exam? If it was before Xanadu, you’ll need to appear for the delta exam and pay a $200 fee.

Everything related to courses/certifications runs through NowLearning, so that's the only place to create a case.

Next to that, I don't think you have any chance on successfully getting this fixed, since it is communicated everywhere that mainline certifications need to be kept up to date by taking the yearly Delta exams. And those can only be taken after paying the fee.

If you don't do that in time, the certificate will be invalidated and you will have to retake the exam. This is shared through email and messages on the NowLearning site. I don't work for ServiceNow, so I don't know the fine print, but I highly doubt that "I never read anything about this" will suffice, since it is in the blue prints. And 'it was unexpected' is invalid because of this as well.

I hope you succeed, but I highly doubt you will.

Could you please guide me on how to take the Delta Exam? Does this mean I have missed the opportunity to take it? I noticed in the email that the last date is April 15th.

Looking forward to your response.

Hi @skbm7072

To check that, go to Now Learning your profile and see if CSA is showing at-risk
