Hello Everyone
My name (as you no doubt have seen at this point) is Micah Russell
7 years with ServiceNow and over a decade of technology training. I have held numerous roles in my IT career starting, as with a lot of folks, as a field tech. Just previous to ServiceNow I was a Service Desk manager. As part of that role I managed the system we used for our Incidents and Requests (and, well, everything) and was responsible for pulling stats out of it. That goes way back, we were using Crystal Reports back then. I don't know if I remember how to use Crystal Reports. Maybe my brain blocked it on purpose because what we are doing here in ServiceNow Performance Analytics is so much cooler.

Hello everyone,
I will be attending Knowledge for the first time! My main role here at ServiceNow is localization of Now Learning training materials and courses contents to Japanese. Previously I worked as a training coordinator. I will be on site to assist any issues (eBooks, instances log in, etc). Looking forward to meeting you all in Vegas.

Hi Micah ,
This is Ravi Pandita. I work for BlueShield of California and own Service Management Office. Looking forward to meeting yourself and the rest of the classmates.
I am trying to create a multi layer nested selection based service dashboard, that can apply the selected filters to all report and PA widgets in the dashboard.
Regards
Ravi

I am attending Knowledge for the first time this year. I work in IT Process and Project Management in higher education, and we use ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management to for our project intake and management and to prioritize and manage the IT Portfolio. In my role, I am often asked questions about our project data, and I am looking forward to diving deeper into Performance Analytics to facilitate the conversation about our portfolio. I am looking forward to a great week!

Hi I am John Felini. I went to Knowledge in 2019 and was impressed with ServiceNow. My knowledge prior was limited. Since then I continued to dive deeper into reporting and dashboarding. My main goal in this course is to learn how to take the best of PA out of the box and modify it to work for our scoped app. Thanks! John

This is Peter Steinbach from Discover Financial Services. I am a part of the Vulnerability Management team and looking to learn more and more how to use PA to understand and report on vulnerabilities within our company.
Our management and audits are requiring more and more to get at the data.
If anyone also works with Vulnerabilities within ServiceNow. We have various SNOW integrations with various products, bringing in this vulnerability data into SNOW.

Hi, I'm Brent MacAloney, and I'm the ServiceNow Platform Owner at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). I'm based out of Silver Spring, Maryland. I've been responsible for all activities on the platform since 2016. Prior to that, I was a meteorologist specializing in tornado damage and severe weather warnings for 17 years. I did a lot of performance analysis on forecasters in those 17 years. So I've been wanting to find a way to bring my performance metrics background into things we do in ServiceNow.

What access role do you need to have Database View and buckets?

Following up my question I asked during the lab yesterday, with additional information. Not positive if the solution to scenario 1 is the same as for scenario 2 so will provide details for both situations.
1. I would like to know which Task has the most subtasks, and which Tasks have more than one subtask. In our lab instance I would like to know which Job has the most Indicators, and which Jobs have more than one Indicator.
2. I would like to know which records have more than one metadata field selected, and how many records have more than one metadata field selected. In our lab instance which Incidents have the most people on the Watch List, and which Incidents have more than 1 person on the Watch List.
Ideally would like to track both in PA. As we adopt ServiceNow in our organization I want to track both to see how well we are using the task structure (task/subtask or job/indicator) and how complete our metadata fields are (Watch List).
Hope that helps clarify my question, and thank you!

@Ellena Zimmerma - thank you for your questions!
We need Sys admin role for Database View, and pa_data_collector (or pa_power_user) role for Buckets.
I think this document page helps as well:

What are the best practices for dealing with very large data sets?
I working in vulnerability management and we keep 3 months of data "live", and archive any closed items after that. But we can have 800K+ vulnerabilities that we need to report on?
Some of the use cases:
- Determine average age of vulns by criticality
- Determine average reassignment count
- Determine average closure time by criticality
- etc
What we have been told is that each indicator can only have at most 100k of records, or the data collector will fail. Not sure if that is out of the box, or just a limitation we set on ourselves for performance reasons.
Thoughts?

I guys, been going to Knowledge since 2014 and love them. Missed the in person for the past couple of years and am glad to be back.
In case you missed the ServiceNow Event app, there is an area under Knowledge Journey that lets you scan code for points that leads to getting SNow SWAG.
Here is the QR from the badge line if you missed it.And feel free to Scan mine for points too.
I hope you're enjoying this as much as I am.
thanks,
MD
