Lab 3.2.1 not working - ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals On Demand

Hello,

I’m working on Lab 3.2.1, and I’m having trouble with Step 7. The instructions say to drag the Pilot field below the Configuration field, but the Pilot checkbox is located under the message:
“This section can’t be edited as it belongs to the global scope | Merged with Incident section.”

Because of this, I’m unable to move the field as directed. Could you please advise on how to proceed?

Try Clicking the 'Edit in Original Scope' option shown at the top and see if you can edit the fields. Right scope is always important.

Hi @trucntaku ,

 

This is expected when you’re working outside the Global scope. To move fields or edit, you’ll need to switch into the Global application scope.

Thank you both, that works. The reason I didn't switch in the first place because the lab specifically tell me not to switch.
