A few months ago, Glenn Pinto, John Galaudet, and I were tasked with creating a career journey for a ServiceNow Support person. This is an important role and the partners we interviewed as part of our research were excited about getting help with onboarding their own support personnel.
If you haven’t heard about our career journeys, they are holistic sets of guidance and content to help learners become job-ready for a critical role in the ServiceNow ecosystem. You can see a list of all our career journeys on Now Learning: https://nowlearning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/pages/servicenow
In our research, we learned that our internal ServiceNow Support team had a robust internal onboarding program that had been curated over the years by Iris Geist. (She's an absolute LEGEND in ServiceNow!) To say the least, this course was a game-changer and we wanted to share it with external audiences. Of course, we wanted to include it in our Career Journey, but we felt that it was important enough to share with all Now Learning audiences, too.

The Troubleshoot the Now Platform is live!!!! This advanced course details many of the methodologies and techniques used by our internal Now Support team to identify and resolve technical issues with the Now Platform.
Here's more info from the intro page:
Technical troubleshooting requires a combination of skills and methodologies to effectively identify and resolve issues on the Now Platform.
Objectives:
- Obtain clarity on issues by understanding what the customer is asking
- Learn how to troubleshoot issues using various log files
- Gain knowledge on how to utilize session and global debugging tools to solve issues
- Utilize various methods to debug server and client-side scripts
- Gain insight into various options to search for existing knowledge
Hundreds of people have already taken the course, so we asked some of our advanced instructors for feedback. One instructor told us he learned things even he didn't know existed. That's high praise and we were grateful for and humbled by this feedback.
