Hello everyone

I noticed ServiceNow hasn't given us the final voucher when we finish some courses. I created a Case in Now Learning and the answer was:

"Hello,

We have stopped providing vouchers on completion of courses/simulators, users will soon have an option to pay for the voucher in the near future.

Thank you for your patience.

Certification Team"

Ok, I understood. But my thoughts about this situation is:

  • I know the ServiceNow Team effort and the cost to give us the high quality and free content in the Now Learning website. I really appreciate it. I really thank it.
  • But now we paid the $200 fee to maintain our certifications. Ok. No problem with that. I understood again.
  • But what if our companies don't help us with the voucher cost? $450 for a voucher it's too costly, are you thinking about to reduce it or to give us some free-cost voucher again with the courses?

It's just thoughts out loud on Saturday.

What do you think?

Thanks,
Ariel

PS: I appreciate your effort ServiceNow Certification & Now Learning Team. Thanks!

Hi there,

Just comparing with before. For the past two years or so you would need to have followed a live/virtual class, which costs $1800, $2400, etc.. After that class you would receive a free voucher, with that voucher you could book an exam on webassessor. No voucher, no exam.

For a short while, ServiceNow did offer a free voucher after taking the free On Demand ServiceNow Fundamentals course, to take the CSA exam. This was just for a few months.
So there was NO free voucher for CAD, CAS, CIS-ITSM, CIS-VRM, CIS-HR.
(there are some exceptions on the free vouchers, but this is it in general)

So actually the option to buy a voucher for $300 for non-CIS and $450 for CIS, after following an On Demand course might be an option for people out there who have to pay this themselves, and a full course might be too expensive.
At this moment not all courses are available as On Demand, though ServiceNow is slowly offering more and more On Demand courses.

Kind regards,
Mark

I definitely understand. I was led to believe that if I pay the 300 dollars for the Associate Developer Foundation course, I would get my voucher.  Now, I completed the course, but no voucher.

No way can I afford to pay again. Hopefully, servicenow does the right thing and gives me what I was promised.  Or, alternatively, refunds me for the training.
